Cbox NMS has rich features to control all the cbox family of devices centrally. These cbox devices are built-in configurations to connect to NMS servers using internet/LAN.

cbox NMS can be built-in Cloud or on-prem. Every cbox edge device is configured in firmware to connect NMS once it finds reachability to the NMS server.

Cbox-Mobi, Cbox-basic, cbox-advance all the devices can be registered to NMS and managed centrally. Console devices connected to the cbox edge can be configured using cbox NMS and connect using a portal to the console port and start configuration of the devices.

We can configure the location in the central dashboard as remote sites and attach the cbox edge to the location and all the devices connected to the USB console of the cbox edge device.

Role-based access features can be used to assign some location to respective users. Admin can manage all the cbox edge devices in the enterprise. We can create a read-only user only to see the availability of the site and devices, monitor logs, etc.. for L1 activities

This device has a mini compute inside which is beneficial to address all compute challenges for testing, troubleshooting remote problems.

This can be configured as DHCP, TFTP, FTP, etc.. services on a cbox-advance device.

Current console switch products are focused on the Datacenter and somehow ignore remote sites.

Cbox-smart is very cost-effective. These are must-have devices in every remote office of an enterprise.
